Cancer Services Program

Free breast, cervical, colorectal cancer screening, diagnostic, treatment and support services for eligible residents of New York State.

Programs:

Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening: Eligible clients are able to received clinical breast exams, mammograms and Pap tests.

Camp Experience: Provides camp refferrals for children, adults and family members affected by cancer.

Community Outreach: Informing people about new or expanding cancer support services.

Colorectal Cancer Screening: Eligible clients are able to received colorectal cancer screening and prostate cancer education.

Individual Therapy: One-on-one psychological counseling.

Legal and Supportive Services: Provides legal and supportive services to people and their families who are affected by cancer.

Mobile Mammography: A mobile mammography van located in this county.

Other Services: Provides various services such as prosthetics, wigs, make-up.

Ovarian Cancer: Provides educational awareness and support services to people and their families affected by cancer.

Provider Consultation/Training: Provides training designed to help professionals keep current regarding various cancer support issues.

Support Groups: Provides peer support groups, professionally - facilitated and educational group.

Telephone Support Services: Provides support, networking, referrals and crisis intervention.

Transportation To Treatment: Provides fee transportation to and from treatment for people with cancer.

Supportive/Educational Web-Based Services: Provides services on-line.
Workshop/Seminars: Events that offer cancer-related educational, research and consumer activities.
